An abandoned building in southern China has hundreds of smiling portraits on its wall in.<br /><br />In the eerie clip, filmed in the city of Shenzhen on October 14, the outside wall of the abandoned building was decorated with hundreds of meter-high pictures of people of various ethnicities, all of them smiling.<br /><br />The video shows a worker trying to taking a frame down and bring it back into the building through a window.<br /><br />According to reports, the photo frames were used to cover windows and air conditioner holes and decorate the outer wall of the building. <br /><br />Some locals said the portraits made them feel like inside a cemetery. <br /><br />The smiling portraits have since been taken down although the property management did not give any reason.
