Scuffles broke out between riot police and Spanish nationalists in Madrid on Wednesday night (October 16). <br /><br />The protesters, some of them wearing masks, were seen chanting "national unity".<br /><br />The late night protest erupted after hundreds gathered in support of Catalan independence.
