Official merchandise of the Korea Baseball Organization have been found to contain high levels of harmful chemicals.<br />The Korea Consumer Agency did safety checks on dozens of products, such as thunder sticks and gloves, and found large traces of heavy metals and phthalates - a group of chemicals used to make plastic soft and malleable.<br />They are known to interfere with the body's hormones, which can hinder children's growth, and they have even been linked to cancer.<br />The agency says related stores have stopped selling such products.<br />
