'Mrs. Doubtfire' to Reach <br />Broadway in Spring 2020.<br />The musical is based off the hit 1993 comedy <br />starring the late Robin Williams.<br />Tony-winner Jerry Zaks is on board to direct <br />the show, which will premiere at N.Y.C.'s <br />Stephen Sondheim Theatre.<br />The role of Daniel Hillard <br />will be portrayed by <br />Tony nominee Rob McClure.<br />The plot sees Hillard disguise himself as a <br />Scottish nanny to spend time with his kids <br />while going through a divorce.<br />Before hitting New York City, <br />the musical will show at Seattle's <br />5th Avenue Theatre starting on November 26.<br />During its big screen run, <br />'Mrs. Doubtfire' earned over <br />$440 million globally on <br />a $25 million budget.<br />It has been praised as one of the <br />funniest movies of the past few decades
