Paul Dano to Play the <br />Riddler in 'The Batman'.<br />Dano will face off against <br />Robert Pattinson's Batman <br />in the highly-anticipated film.<br />Dano's casting comes soon after <br />Zoe Kravitz signed on to play <br />Catwoman in the movie.<br />Jeffrey Wright is <br />also in talks to play Police <br />Commissioner Jim Gordon.<br />Riddler has been a foe of the <br />caped crusader for decades, <br />first debuting in 1948.<br />The Riddler, AKA Edward Nygma, <br />has been one of Batman's most <br />memorable opponents.<br />Jim Carrey also portrayed the cunning villain in 1995's 'Batman Forever.'.<br />Dano's film credits include <br />roles in '12 Years a Slave' <br />and 'There Will Be Blood.'.<br />'The Batman' is being directed by <br />'War for the Planet of the Apes' <br />filmmaker Matt Reeves.<br />It is scheduled to reach the <br />big screen on June 25, 2021
