South Korea and the United States have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen financing for infrastructure projects.<br />South Korea's Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki and U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the MOU reaffirms the strong alliance between Seoul and Washington.<br />The MOU is expected to support infrastructure development in Latin America and ASEAN countries through private investment and provide growth opportunities for both countries.<br />During their meeting, Minister Hong also addressed the need for a resolution to Japan's export curbs on Korea and called for an exemption of possible Section 232 tariffs on Korea's auto exports to the U.S.<br />
