A giant sinkhole has prompted the evacuation of hundreds of homes in the capital of El Salvador earlier this week. <br /><br />The drone footage, which was filmed Thursday (October 17), shows the enormous sinkhole with several houses sitting on its edge.<br /><br />The sinkhole, which was made worse after heavy tropical rains hit the region, has been an issue for several years.
