S. Korea confirms 10th case of African swine fever virus in dead wild boar near DMZ

South Korea has confirmed that a tenth wild boar in the country has been found dead from African swine fever.<br />The animal's body was discovered last Friday near the inter-Korean border and the test results came out as positive on Sunday.<br />According to the National Institute of Environmental Research,... the dead boar was some three kilometers south of the civilian control line in the inter-Korean border town of Yeoncheon.<br />So far, 14 cases of African swine fever have been confirmed at pig farms in South Korea since mid-September.<br />
