Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Malaysia could be hit with trade sanctions amid rising protectionism highlighted by the US-China tariff war.<br /><br />To cushion the impact of the collision between the superpowers, he said Malaysia was collaborating more with its regional neighbours.<br /><br />He said this at the opening of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (Isis) Praxis Conference 2019 here on Monday.
