North Korea continues its criticism against the U.S. following the breakdown of working-level talks earlier this month,... this time bringing up the international sanctions imposed on the regime.<br />The North's official newspaper Rodong Sinmun reiterated calls Monday... for Pyeongyang to strengthen its "self-reliance" in the face of rising U.S. and Western imperialist pressure against the regime.<br />The report stressed the need to resist sanctions... which it argues are aimed at regime change.<br />It said catering to a compromise would eventually lead to a collapse... citing the cases of Iraq and Libya.<br />
