A woman from Surat Thani, southern Thailand had to smash open a pot to rescue a fat cat who was stuck inside.<br /><br />Rattaporn Saringkarn, 26, found his pet Siamese cat named Ploy stuck in the large ceramic pot at his home.<br /><br />Footage from last Thursday (October 17) shows how Rattaporn's mother, Somchit, had to smash open the garden pot with a wooden pestle. <br /><br />The three-year-old female chubby moggy was then able to scamper away.<br /><br />Rattaporn said that the mischievous cat was her usual calm self after the incident, unaware of the damage that she caused by making them smash the valuable garden pot.<br /><br />He said: "She found the pot cozy then entered it, but I found her struggling to get out. We tried to pull her out but it was impossible because of her big belly."<br /><br />''Finally, my mother had to smash the pot to get her out. After she was freed she went on walking around in the house like nothing had happened."
