A dog whose head was stuck inside a plastic container for nearly two days was rescued by volunteers in western India.<br /><br />The incident took place on October 13 in Maharashtra's Nashik city.<br /><br />Visuals show two people helping the dog, one who held its body and the other who tries to take off the container from its head.<br /><br />The dog, that was emaciated after being unable to eat for two days, writhed in pain as its rescuer tried to help it out.<br /><br />While the dog slipped out of one of the rescuer's hands, the men managed to pull out the container in the second attempt.<br /><br />Once freed, the dog was seen running away.<br /><br />The mission lasted for 20 minutes.
