Jimmy Carter Hospitalized <br />After Falling and Fracturing Pelvis .<br />According to The Carter Center, <br />the former U.S. president fell down <br />at his Georgia home Monday night.<br />[Carter] has been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture, The Carter Center, via statement.<br />He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home, The Carter Center, via statement.<br />This isn't the first <br />time Carter has injured <br />himself by falling down.<br />Last May, <br />he fell and <br />broke his hip.<br />He also previously hit his forehead on a sharp object, <br />which required 14 stitches, but he still attended a <br />Habitat for Humanity rally in Tennessee afterwards.<br />I fell down and hit my forehead on a sharp edge and had to go to the hospital.
