DALTON, GEORGIA — A Georgia driver is miraculously alive after he accidentally introduced the front of his SUV right into the back of a log truck. <br />Whitfield County Fire shared the amazing images from the October 12 scene on its Facebook page. <br />According to CNN, the man was apparently driving down the Cleveland Hwy when he dropped something. <br />He then leaned over to pick it up, totally not seeing the log truck that was stopped in the road in front of him. <br />Logs went through the windshield like a knife through butter, but amazingly just missed the driver's head.<br />According to Whitfield County Fire Chief Edward O'Brien, because the driver was not in the upright position in his seat, his head ended up in a tiny gap between the logs.<br />Firefighters had to chainsaw their way through 30 to 40 logs before they could even begin to cut open the car and rescue the man. <br />O'Brien said that it only took about 10 to 15 minutes to get the guy out after that. Unbelievably, the man only sustained minor injuries. <br />According to CNN, it's unclear what or if any charges the driver is looking at.
