4 Dead, 94 Hospitalized <br />After Hot Tub Display <br />Causes Disease Outbreak.<br />The display was in the town of Fletcher, <br />North Carolina, during a state fair <br />that went from September 6-15.<br />If not sanitized correctly, <br />Legionella bacteria can <br />develop easily in hot tubs.<br />The deaths stemmed from <br />Legionnaires' disease, a <br />severe type of pneumonia.<br />The state's department of health <br />has received reports of <br />over 133 cases so far.<br />94 people have <br />been hospitalized.<br />The bacteria can also be carried through the air, meaning people can contract it without touching a hot tub.<br />Those with weak immune systems <br />and the elderly are <br />very susceptible to Legionnaires'.<br />Pontiac fever has also been <br />detected in eight of the victims
