Car with five passengers sent flying in crash by petrol station in central India

A car travelling at high speed on an Indian highway was sent flying through the air in a major accident caught on a petrol station CCTV. <br /><br />The incident took place near the city of Narmada, Gujarat state on October 15 at around 2:00pm. The car was driving at full speed on the highway, when the driver lost control and struck the divider of a petrol station and was launched into the air. <br /><br />There was a family of five from the neighbouring state of Maharashtra in the car, who were on their way to see the famed Statue of Unity in Gujarat. <br /><br />There were two men, two women and a ten-year-old girl in the car, all of whom were injured but none died. <br /><br />One man and one woman suffered severe injuries. All the passengers are still under treatment at Baroda hospital.
