An 8-foot-long python was rescued from inside the engine of an indigo car in east India on October 21. <br /><br />The reptile was found in the car in Saraikela city, Jharkhand by mechanics after it caused the engine to stall. <br /><br />When the driver of the car, Dr Manoj Kumar, turned on his engine, a loud noise and smoke started coming out of the car bonnet. Hearing the noise, he immediately turned it off again. <br /><br />Later, when the engine of the car was checked, the python was discovered and snake rescuer Chotu Srivastava was called. <br /><br />According to Srivastava, the python was stuck inside the engine and took around an hour to rescue it. <br /><br />With the help of locals, the python was taken out of the engine via the suspension and was handed over to the forest department.
