The government announced on Thursday its final offer of RM1,000 per square foot for land in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur, up from RM850 previously. <br /><br />Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said it was estimated that the buyout from landowners would cost the government about RM6.7bil in compensation.
