Disney+ Working on <br />'Hocus Pocus' Sequel Insiders tell 'Entertainment Tonight' that planning for the film is just underway. A report from Collider <br />adds that producer, writer <br />and actress Jen D'Angelo <br />will write the script. The original 'Hocus Pocus' centered <br />on three 17th-century witches who <br />come back to life in modern day <br />Salem, Massachusetts. It starred Bette Midler, <br />Sarah Jessica Parker <br />and Kathy Najimy. The 1993 Halloween film has become <br />a cult classic since its release.
