Facebook Is Launching <br />a News Section.<br />The “alpha” launch is <br />set to roll out Friday to a couple <br />hundred thousand U.S. users.<br />The move follows attacks from News Corps CEO Robert Thomson and his boss, founder Robert Murdoch, on Mark Zuckerberg to pay publishers for their stories. .<br />Facebook will be shelling out <br />as much as $3 million to some <br />partners, while others will receive <br />traffic and potential subscribers.<br />Users will be able to access news <br />stories for free from partners like <br />'The Wall Street Journal,' <br />'Washington Post' and Buzzfeed.<br />The new feature will get a wider <br />release in the coming months
