Thousands of supporters of Spain's far-right Vox party gathered in Plaza de Colón in Madrid on Saturday to defend what they described as "the unity of Spain."<br /><br />Some were seen giving Fascist salutes while others waved Spanish flags bearing the image of former dictator Francisco Franco. <br /><br />The gathering came as demonstrators in Catalonia vowed to continue protesting against recent lengthy jail terms for the some of the region's separatist leaders.
