Almost on cue,... a deeply unwelcome visitor has reared its ugly head.<br />The first yellow dust of the season has arrived in South Korea.<br /> Yellow dust from overseas blew in overnight on the back of westerly winds, …raising levels of air pollution in western regions to three to five times higher than usual.<br />The season's first fine dust advisory has also been issued in Seoul, Incheon, Chungcheongnam-do Province and Jeollabuk-do Province.<br />Fine dust is expected to affect southern parts of the country in the next couple of hours.<br />It's best to avoid outdoor activities …and it's advisable to wear a suitable face mask when heading out, particularly if you plan to be outside for a while.<br />We'll have more on the air pollution during our weather report at the end of this newscast. <br />
