A car left a trail of flames on a highway in eastern China after the drunk driver crashed into the central reservation.<br /><br />The dramatic video, filmed in the county of Wuyi on October 18, shows a car smashing into the central reservation and knocking it down, causing petrol to leak from the vehicle.<br /><br />A huge fire then broke out, burning along the trail of petrol that leaked out onto the road.<br /><br />The driver and his girlfriend came out of the burning car and escaped.<br /><br />According to reports, the driver named Lv was in a rush to drive back to his hometown as one of his relatives was sick.<br /><br />Lv suffered injuries to several parts of his body. Police confirmed that he was drunk driving and he was blamed for the incident.
