China's manufacturing sector continued to shrink for a sixth consecutive month in October amid its trade war with the U.S.<br />According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, the official Purchasing Managers' Index for manufacturing came to 49-point-3 in October, down half a point from September.<br />The October figure was the lowest since February.<br />If the PMI falls below 50, it means manufacturing has shrunk on a monthly basis.<br />
