A fire has destroyed the main hall and other structures of Japan's Shuri Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the country's southern prefecture of Okinawa.<br />The fire broke out early Thursday... most likely starting from the castle's main structure and spreading to the north and south halls.<br />According to fire department officials,... over four-thousand square meters of the site have been damaged, but no injuries have been reported.<br />The cause of the fire is not yet known.<br />The Japanese government said it would make every effort to rebuild the Shuri Castle.<br />
