S. Korean, Japanese lawmakers to meet in Japan to find ways to resolve conflicts

Some 40 South Korean lawmakers with the South Korea-Japan Parliamentarians' Union are in Japan to attend the regular joint session of the union with their Japanese counterparts.<br />Beginning at 11AM, Korea time, lawmakers from the two countries will begin their 42nd annual session at the Japanese parliament.<br />Lawmakers say they'll raise Japan's compensation of Korean wartime victims, the termination of the two countries' military intel-sharing pact, and the decision by both sides to revoke the other's trusted trade partner status.<br />They will hold a press briefing later in the day, and release a joint statement on topics agreed upon by both parties.<br />
