Hundreds took to the streets of Sao Paulo on Thursday evening (October 31) to demand answers from the government as to the circumstances of the death of politician Marielle Franco. <br /><br />Thursday's protests erupted after a report linking Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to the death of Franco was aired by Brazil's largest TV network, Globo.<br /><br />Marielle Franco, a prominent Brazilian human rights activist and politician, was murdered in mysterious circumstances in March 2018.
