Lil Wayne Confesses He<br />Doesn’t Listen to Hip-Hop.<br />In a recent interview with ‘Bumbu Room,’<br />the 37-year-old rapper was asked if he had <br />a “guilty pleasure” when it came to music. .<br />Weezy revealed that in terms of <br />hip-hop music, he only listens to himself.<br />I don’t listen to no other<br />hip-hop but my d--- self, Lil Wayne, via 'Bumbu Room'.<br />He later acknowledged that he does<br />enjoy “new hip-hop,” saying it was different<br />than the music he grew up listening to. .<br />The new hip-hop, I love it. I love that it’s actually<br />changed … we don’t have to listen to it—listening<br />is different than hearing. So when we hear it, we<br />like it, it’s all good, so that makes it easier for me, Lil Wayne, via 'Bumbu Room'.<br />Lil Wayne went on to explain that his taste<br />in music is more diverse and that it’s “impossible<br />for [him] not to love every type of music.”.<br />He named artists such as Anita Baker, Marvin Gaye,<br />Blink-182 and Nirvana as his favorites.
