Catholics in the country flock to cemeteries to pay their respects to the departed for All Souls’ Day.<br /><br />Placing flowers and lit candles on the graves, they offered prayers and cleaned up the tombstones of their loved ones. <br /><br />All Souls’ Day, which is known in the Roman Catholic church as the ‘commemoration of all the faithful departed’, is observed annually on Nov 2.
