Footage shows a bizarre hammerhead worm found slithering across the ground.<br /><br />Ekachai Kaepoung noticed the dark brown creature searching for prey in Phetchabun, northeastern Thailand on October 14 afternoon.<br /><br />Ekachai, who was fascinated by the appearance of the worm, said the worm may be small, but it is a threat to earthworms.<br /><br />He said: "The hammerhead worms are too small and too cute to harm humans, but in contrast, it's a big danger to the earthworm."<br /><br />The hammerhead worm uses its mucilage to immobilise victims before biting them and devouring them in small pieces.
