This is the bizarre moment a local politician's moment of glory came crashing down thanks to a charging bull. <br /><br />Residents of Dodderi village in the southern Indian state of Karnataka invited their local representative M. P. Renukacharya to open a bull-taming contest on Friday (November 1st).<br /><br />He received a hero's welcome when his chanting supporters carried him into the venue.<br /><br />Moments later, however, a startled bull charged directly at the crowd, knocking Renukacharya and many of his supporters to the ground. <br /><br />Eyewitnesses said the politician and his followers received only minor injuries and were back on their feet in no time. <br /><br />“He was fit enough to take part in the programme though he preferred to walk this time,” said Kiran Shekar, a local resident/
