South Korea's Navy is taking part in the Pacific Reach exercise... a multinational submarine rescue exercise aimed at improving salvage efforts in case of submarine accidents in foreign waters.<br />The Navy said Monday that it's deploying it 12-hundred ton Lee Sun Sin submarine to this year's exercise held for 12 days starting today off the coast of Australia.<br />Six countries South Korea, the U.S., Japan, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore are taking part.<br />The exercise, initiated in 2000, was held every two years, but is now is held every three years.<br />
