A Hindu mystic bathed himself with hot boiled milk and threw it onto his disciples as a part of a prominent religious festival the day after Diwali. <br /><br />On October 28 in Sonbhadra Markundi, Uttar Pradesh, the ascetic Rajendra Baba, bathed with boiling milk from a clay pot, before taking some of the liquid and splashing onto his watching disciples. <br /><br />The mystic's disciples claimed that they were not harmed by the hot milk, and that it felt cool and fresh on their faces.
