U.S. President Donald Trump says he hopes to continue working toward the shared goal of North Korea's denuclearization and peace on the Korean Peninsula, together with President Moon.<br />He said this in a letter of condolence to President Moon on the death of Moon's mother.<br />That letter was delivered Monday evening on the sidelines of the ASEAN meetings in Bangkok by Trump's national security advisor Robert O'Brien.<br />In it, President Trump said President Moon's mother would have undoubtedly been proud of her son for his efforts in building peace.<br />He also said that South Korea and the U.S. continue working to unite the Korean families separated by the Korean War.<br />
