A cargo ship in the North Atlantic ocean sailing through treacherous conditions was subject to violent waves smashing against the windows on November 2.<br /><br />Footage shows the RORO (Roll-On, Roll-Off) cargo ship in transit as incoming waves that are illuminated by the vessel's lights hit the windows.<br /><br />The ship was travelling from Thorlakshofn, Iceland to Rotterdam, the Netherlands when the ship encountered the rough seas.<br /><br />Third Officer Jonn Lydersen - who shot the footage - told Newsflare: "This is not everyday weather, we have this and worse weather one or two maybe three days a month during winter. <br /><br />"But this was not the worst weather, the direction of the wind and waves was just bad for us because we had to go straight against it."
