A couple were shocked after waking up in the middle of the night to find a wild elephant inside their house.<br /><br />Kritsada Thongsuep heard loud crashing noises from his yard in Chachoengsao, central Thailand last Saturday (November 2) night.<br /><br />Footage shows the hungry jumbo standing in his yard rummaging through kitchen utensils which had been stacked outside on a table.<br /><br />Kritsada said that his family wanted local wildlife authorities to take some responsibility for the creatures and prevent them from getting inside people's homes.<br /><br />He said: "I need the authorities to come down and help us. The elephant destroyed our rice cooker, ate the uncooked rice and did not leave any for us."
