The United States and China are reportedly considering withdrawing some tariffs for their highly-anticipated "phase one" trade deal.<br />The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that a senior Trump administration official says removing tariffs will be "part of it" if they reach a deal.<br />The report added Washington and Beijing agreed in principle last month to end the trade conflict.<br />The "phase one" trade deal includes China's purchase of American agricultural goods and rules to deter currency manipulation.<br />It also contains methods to protect U.S. intellectual property in exchange for freezing tariff increases on hundreds of billion dollars on Chinese goods.<br />
