Fans Celebrate<br />‘Stranger Things’ Day In 2018, Netflix declared Nov. 6 to be a day of<br />appreciation for their hit series, ’Stranger Things.’ The date was chosen because it is the day <br />that Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp,<br />first disappeared into the Upside Down. This year’s holiday technically marks the 36th anniversary<br />of Will’s disappearance, as his vanishing act took place<br />in the 1983 setting of the first season. Last year on Nov. 6, various cast members<br />such as Caleb McLaughlin, Millie Bobby Brown<br />and Schnapp, shared a video message to fans. This year, Netflix <br />celebrated by sharing <br />a 36-second compilation <br />of the show’s<br />main characters <br />saying Will’s name <br />throughout the <br />three seasons. Fortnite is also celebrating ‘Stranger Things’ day <br />by bringing back Demogorgon and Chief Hopper skins.
