People with tic disorders, such as Tourette syndrome, will now be protected under Korea disability laws.<br />The Supreme Court ruled today that a disability rating must be assigned to people with such disorders to enable them to get benefits from the state.<br />The court's ruling came after a lawsuit filed by a person with Tourette syndrome who'd sued a county administration for rejecting his application to be considered disabled.<br />The top court said the county has to assign the person the disability rating closest to the severity of his condition.<br />
