Bernie Sanders Calls for <br />Breakup of ICE in Immigration Plan.<br />In the newly released proposal, Sanders also calls for the breakup of Customs and Border Protection.<br />The Vermont Senator is now the first 2020 candidate to request the scrapping of both agencies.<br />The functions of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and CBP would be re-touted to fellow agencies.<br />Sanders' plan goes on to call for the Department of Justice to handle deportation and border enforcement.<br />Citizenship concerns would be directed to the State Department.<br />Sanders also calls for better working conditions and protections for immigrant and guest workers in big companies.<br />For this, the 78-year-old has revealed the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights.<br />The bill requires improved working conditions, scheduling and a $15 an hour wage. .<br />Federal contracts would also be halted for businesses who take advantage of these workers.<br />Large corporations target vulnerable communities as a source of labor and use their immigration status to retaliate when workers stand up for their rights.<br />For too long, employers have exploited undocumented immigrants and guest workers to violate labor laws, skirt the minimum wage, and maximize their own profits
