President Moon Jae-in says his government's mission is to stop corruption and establish a fair society.<br />He was speaking Friday at the Blue House... in a meeting attended by dozens of his administration's top officials.<br />"Expanding these anti-corruption meetings to focus on building a fair society makes clear the government's determination to make sure that equality takes root in all of Korean society, not only in fixing corruption."<br />President Moon emphasized the need to eliminate the unfair privileges enjoyed by powerful people... which influence investigations and trials.<br />He also called for equality in education and employment so that people are selected for their abilities rather than their regional and family backgrounds.<br />As for prosecutorial reform,...<br />President Moon credited the prosecution for how it's working actively on its self-reform, and instructed it to cooperate with the Justice Ministry in the process.<br />The prosecution, he said, has achieved a fair level of neutrality,... he said it still needs to better protect human rights in its investigation and indictment procedures.<br />
