Jeff Goldblum Receives Backlash
for Defending Woody Allen.
In a recent interview with 'i News,' Goldblum
came out in defense of Woody Allen.
Allen, who was accused of sexual
assault by his adoptive daughter in
1992, has been treated as a pariah
in Hollywood ever since. .
Goldblum, who worked with Allen in 1977 on ‘Annie Hall,’
said he believed there should be a “presumption of
innocence” when it came to the accusations. .
I think there is a presumption of innocence
until proven guilty … I know I enjoyed
working with him many years ago and
I sat in with his band once too, Jeff Goldblum, to ‘i News’.
Even though I feel like this cultural shift
[the #MeToo movement] is very, very
positive and long overdue and I support it
wholeheartedly and take it very seriously,
I also admire his body of work, Jeff Goldblum, to ‘i News’.
Goldblum would even like
to work with Allen again.
So I would consider working with
him, until I learned something more, Jeff Goldblum, to ‘i News’
