Two men watch in awe as a poisonous snake swallows another of its kind in southern India.<br /><br />The incident took place on May 24 in the Bangalore Rural district of Karnataka state.<br /><br />Footage shows the two snakes, identified as banded krait and Russell viper by a clearly knowledgable commentator, slithering on the road.<br /><br />The krait then attacks the smaller viper and clamps its jaws onto the reptile.<br /><br />The viper tries to escape by attacking the krait but ultimately fails and is slowly devoured.
