National news agency Bernama and state-owned broadcast RTM are both undergoing reforms in the face of the changing media landscape, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo.<br /><br />However, as of now, these reforms do not appear to involve job cuts, he added.<br /><br />"I would like to emphasise we are focused on developing staff, jobs are very important and if possible, we should try to retain as much as possible," Gobind added.<br /><br />This comes after the recent incidents of news organisations like Utusan Malaysia and Kosmo shutting down as well as job cuts within Media Prima Bhd.<br />
