Video filmed in Hong Kong on Monday (November 11) shows litter scattered on the ground hours after a protester was shot by a police officer. <br /><br />Dozens of polystyrene foam boxes and other junk were scattered around the intersection at Sain Wan Ho district following the unrest.<br /><br />Earlier this morning (November 11), the shooting incident was broadcast live on Facebook showing a traffic policeman trying to detain a masked protester. <br /><br />Another masked man approached the officer and was then shot in the chest area. The man survived but is in critical condition in hospital.<br /><br />Protesters created the roadblocks to close the crime scene before police officers took control of the area. The boxes were from a nearby market ransacked by the demonstrators. <br /><br />The violence has been ongoing for 24 weeks, with Hong Kong residents demanding more independence from oppressive mainland China.
