Incredible footage shows a Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane descend close to the Manning River, New South Wales to refill water to fight the raging bushfires.<br /><br />The specialised chopper - known as an Erickson Aircrane - is seen swooping around from behind trees with a yellow sky backdrop caused by wildfire smoke to fill its bucket with water.<br /><br />It was tackling the Hillville bushfire on November 9, which has been part of infernos described by the Rural Fire Service as "catastrophic."<br /><br />The filmer explained: "The November bushfires are being fought with many firefighting helicopters. <br /><br />"In response to the Hillville bushfire, which spread to Old Bar and Wallabi Point, the Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane (aka Erickson Aircrane) collects water from the Manning River between Oxley Island and Cabbage Tree Island."
