A plane drops fire-retardant material on bushfires in the Sydney outskirts today (November 12).<br /><br />Footage shows the plane discharging red dust-looking material over the suburb of South Turramurra in an attempt to extinguish the blaze.<br /><br />The fire has since been deemed "under control" by authorities.
