Video Information:<br />ShabdYog Satsang, Month of Awakening<br />23rd April, 2019<br />Advait Bodhsthal, Greater Noida<br /><br />Context:<br />सचि कालु कूड़ु वरतिआ कलि कालख बेताल॥<br />There is a famine of Truth; falsehood prevails, and the blackness of the Dark Age of Kali Yuga has turned men into demons.<br />बीउ बीजि पति लै गए अब किउ उगवै दालि॥<br />Those who planted their seed have departed with honor; now, how can the shattered seed sprout?<br />जे इकु होइ त उगवै रुती हू रुति होइ॥<br />If the seed is whole, and it is the proper season, then the seed will sprout.<br />नानक पाहै बाहरा कोरै रंगु न सोइ॥<br />O Nanak, without treatment, the raw fabric cannot be dyed.<br />भै विचि खु्मबि चड़ाईऐ सरमु पाहु तनि होइ॥<br />In the Fear of God it is bleached white, if the treatment of modesty is applied to the cloth of the body.<br />नानक भगती जे रपै कूड़ै सोइ न कोइ॥<br />O Nanak, if one is imbued with devotional worship, his reputation is not false.<br />नानक मेरु सरीर का इकु रथु इकु रथवाहु॥<br />O Nanak, the soul of the body has one chariot and one charioteer.<br />जुगु जुगु फेरि वटाईअहि गिआनी बुझहि ताहि॥<br />In age after age they change; the spiritually wise understand this.<br />सतजुगि रथु संतोख का धरमु अगै रथवाहु॥<br />In the Golden Age of Sat Yuga, contentment was the chariot and righteousness the charioteer.<br />त्रेतै रथु जतै का जोरु अगै रथवाहु॥<br />In the Silver Age of Traytaa Yuga, celibacy was the chariot and power the charioteer.<br />दुआपुरि रथु तपै का सतु अगै रथवाहु॥<br />In the Brass Age of Dwaapar Yuga, penance was the chariot and truth the charioteer.<br />कलजुगि रथु अगनि का कूड़ु अगै रथवाहु॥<br />In the Iron Age of Kali Yuga, fire is the chariot and falsehood the charioteer.<br />~Guru Granth Sahib<br /><br />Music Credits: Milind Date
