South Korea's ruling Democratic Party is planning to pull out around ten high-level government officials to run in next April's general elections.
Local news reports suggest the ruling party especially wants Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo, as well as Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki.
They're still reportedly only in the stage of discussion.
But according to numerous Blue House officials, the focus of the presidential office right now is filling the vacant position of Justice Minister.
The presidential chief of staff did, however, tell reporters Sunday that they would let those who want to run do so meaning there could be a wider-than-expected reshuffle next month.
