Disney+ App Downloaded 3.2 Million Times on First Day Available.<br />The mobile app for iOS and Android hit 3.2 million downloads in its initial 24 hours, according to Apptopia.<br />89 percent of the downloads <br />came from U.S. users, while <br />9 percent came from Canada and <br />2 percent from the Netherlands.<br />In comparison, Netflix’s app was downloaded <br />662,000 times worldwide on Nov. 12.<br />The Disney+ app is currently No. 1 in <br />Apple’s App Store in both the U.S. and Canada.<br />Users spent a total of 1.3 million hours streaming <br />Disney+ on its first day, according to Apptopia.<br />Meanwhile, Netflix users spent 6 million hours streaming <br />in the U.S., Canada and the Netherlands.<br />Disney+ is currently available for a free, <br />seven-day trial and will cost subscribers <br />$6.99 a month after the trial period
